Hi, I'm Marcelo Bottaro. I'm a cartoonist, voice actor, and puppeteer from Brooklyn, New York. A lot of my work involves drawing and creating cartoons for film and television which were my original plans, but I am also a passionate Puppeteer having created my own group The Figments.
In the beginning, I set out to work in animation as a storyboard artist and character designer, years later he dedicated his work to voice acting for animation. Having a passion for making videos and movies, I added what was once a hobby to my goal to perform TV puppetry which was when I found my true calling.
Along with my skills in puppetry and cartoons, I also began my journey as a teacher, teaching how to make simple crafty puppets and do fun little shows as well as teaching the style of television-style puppetry with hand-made puppets in the style of The Muppets.
My journey is long, but I am loving every minute of it.
